Rachelle Nemec is a graduate of Metro State College receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management. She has been dancing for over 25 years. Dance training includes; ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, musical theatre, character and cheerleading/poms. Rachelle performed as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader (1996-1997), Rapids Cheerleader (1997) and a Denver Nuggets Dancer (1997-2002) which Rachelle was captain of the Nuggets Dance Team for 4 years. During this time she traveled to Las Vegas to dance at trade shows for Everlast, appeared in Fox Sport commercials, KS 107.5 radio commercial, Channel 2 WB news, performed at the Mayors Ball and appeared on Good Afternoon Colorado.

Rachelle has been teaching dance for over 15 years at local studios in the Denver metro area, including Gotta Dance, 5280, Kinetic Arts, Spotlight Performing Arts and with Academy of Colorado Ballet since 2005. Rachelle also started and directed the performance company Rhapsody Dancers at the Academy of Colorado Ballet for 4 years. She began this program in 2005 formally known as Spotlight Performers. Her dancers have performed all over Colorado, participate in dance competition/conventions, festivals, out reach programs/charities and even performed at Disneyland, California Adventure, Catalina Island, San Antonio Texas at The River Walk, Branson and Nationals in Las Vegas. They have won numerous awards such as high point 1st place overall. They have even been recognized as one of the best performing groups in Colorado. Rachelle is also the choreographer for Dakota Ridge High School’s musicals. She has choreographed Footloose, Westside Story, Anything Goes, Cinderella, Big Fish and Beauty and The Beast. She has helped train and has worked with many local poms teams. Rachelle has also been a judge for out of state regional dance competitions. Her choreography has won Top competition awards and Best Choreography.

Rachelle as also taught several years of tumbling, nutrition and sports programs for kids. She was an assistant Director for Little Gym, a partner for Stretch-n-Grow (nutrition program for kids) and also worked for Partners in Action (dance and tumbling program). She has also been a poms coach for Douglas County and ThurderRidge High School. Rachelle enjoys working with kids of all ages! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her kids.
